Comprehensive setup and high usability
Despite its comparatively high weight of 1.3 kg and its multi-part construction, the Katalyst scores well in the usability category. The system is logically structured, although it requires a bit more routine and preparation time than a classic one-piece suit due to the necessary manual wetting of the electrodes and the donning of the vest, pants, and cuffs. The high-quality workmanship of the suit ensures a very firm fit of the electrodes, which is particularly advantageous for intensive, static sessions.
Impressive app and technical focus
A real highlight is the control via the app, which achieved the highest rating in our test. It offers a state-of-the-art user interface and professional analysis tools. Important to know: The system is currently tailored for iOS users; Android users are still excluded for now. Please note that an additional monthly subscription fee of €55 applies here.
Price structure and service
At €2,899, the Katalyst marks the top end of our price comparison. This is a deliberate investment in a professional system where payment & support are also convincing. For ambitious users looking for maximum electrode power and willing to pay more for technical depth and professional workouts, the Katalyst represents an impressive, albeit costly, powerhouse.
